Alfred Noel was born on 1833, in Stockholm Sweden. As Alfred grew older, he and his father became very interested in nitroglycerin, a colorless, oily, explosive substance. In 1863, Alfred invented the Nobel patent detonator.He even opened his own explosive factory.On 1875 Alfred invented the Nobel Patent Detonator and the Blasting Gelation. He also opened his own explosive factory. Alfred put the Blasting Gelation in his factory for production. Alfred Nobel died on 1896 in San Remo , Italy.
